Reference: JHB001399-SiyaJ-1 Responsible for and required to provide effective technical support to the operations team, providing the necessary technical expertise and implementing appropriate actions to ensure efficient operation activities, whilst ensuring optimal operational plant performance and product production in accordance with set KPI's, product specification and quality conformance of the water treatment plant(s) within the area of responsibility. Requirements: A proven electrical background with relevant electrical NQF courses is highly desirable. N6/T3/S4 diploma or equivalent in an Engineering field would be advantageous – Requisite Trade Test Proficiency in PLC programming and fault finding. Proficient in electrical and instrumentation fault finding Roles and Responsibilities: Assist with electrical automation design and maintenance tasks. Installing and performing diagnostic tests on electrical systems. Developing and implementing electrical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns. Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs. Documenting processes and maintaining electrical service records. Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies. Optimizing electrical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings Training co-workers on automation systems within the plant.
