Electrical Technician (Manufacturing) - Somerset West
You will be responsible for maintaining, implementing, and controlling the manufacturing plants electrical systems.
Skills & Duties:
- Maintaining production equipment
- Programming and fault finding on PLCs
- Setting up a library of plant drawings, equipment manuals and software programs
- Setting up and controlling an electrical spares store
- Responsible for the electrical condition of a 24-hour production facility
- Must be prepared to be on after hours call outs
Minimum Requirements:
- Certified Technician Minimum National Technicians Certificate (T3)
- Formal electrical training by way of either an apprenticeship or minimum 5 years practical experience
- Wiremans licence advantageous
- Experience in programming & troubleshooting industrial PLCs & controllers.
- Experience in LT maintenance, covering switchgear and production equipment
- Excellent in fault finding & problem solving techniques
- Own transport and valid drivers licence essential
- Must reside in the Gordons Bay, Strand or Somerset West area
