Reference: JHB002204-DN-1Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Electrician to undertake installations and electrical repairs of generators and other electrical appliances Key requirement At least 3-5 years in generator industry Well organized with a customer-oriented approach Marketing, sales and administration experience Must be a qualified Electrician by trade with apprenticeship Valid driver's license Code EC A good understanding of diesel engines Flexible to work long shifts and overnight Key responsibilities Prepare planning for installations, repairs and maintenance Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functional diesel generators and other electrical systems Performing site inspections with sales consultants Installing and maintaining of genset and other electrical equipment Fault finding on genset control and generators Changing gensets from 3 phase to single phase vice versa Preventing breakdown of gensets by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units Strictly complying with the company's smoking policy in the execution of duties Strictly complying with the company's alcohol and drug policy in the execution of duties Assembling and installing ATS R240 000 - R300 000
