Our client is urgently seeking a trade-tested and experienced Electrician for a well-established electrical company based in Stellenbosch. Residential experience beneficial.

Responsibilities:

Assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Installation of electrical boxes, DB Boards, other enclosures, conduits (pipes, tubing, trunking), ground leads and connecting of power to different equipment/machinery.
Wiring of circuit breakers, transformers and electrical equipment.
Performing maintenance and identifying maintenance requirements on electrical equipment.
Fault finding.
Ensuring that preventative maintenance is executed according to schedule.
Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Performing ad-hoc duties.
Reading and understanding electrical drawings.
Commercial and industrial electrical installation services (three-phase and single-phase).
Power continuity.
Must adhere to the relevant electrical codes, procedures & safety policies.

Experience & Qualifications:

Residential Electrical experience beneficial.
Experience in managing various isntallation and maintenance teams.
Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Certification (NQF Level 4).
Trade Tested / Red Seal – both single- and three-phase.
Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience.
No criminal record.
Valid unendorsed driver's license.
