Our client in the East Rand is looking for an Electrician/Crane Technician to join their team. Qualified Electrician with min. N4 Applicant must have 5 years experience in Crane/Factory Environment Comprehensive knowledge of cranes & their operation Knowledge of Thyristors & Programmable Logic Systems (PLC's) Repair, Maintenance & electrical work on overhead cranes. Routine maintenance & wiring of electrical panels Inspection & replacement of defective electrical components in motors, generators & electric control systems Repair & maintenance of electrical crane drives & zinc bath, thyristor pacs Basic knowledge of electric wiring Knowledge of safety & environmental tools & equipment Working at heights & restricted space areas Diagnose & resolve problems Electrical fault finding on DB & machines Programming on VSD Inspect equipment to meet requirements of preventative maintenance program Maintain files Qualified Electrician with min. N4 Applicant must have 5 years experience in Crane/Factory Environment Comprehensive knowledge of cranes & their operation Knowledge of Thyristors & Programmable Logic Systems (PLC's) R190/hour - 40 hour week according to MEIBC Regulations
