We are currently recruiiting for an Electrician to join our dynamic team. Job Purpose The incumbent will be responsible for, installation, maintenance, and repairs of medium and low voltage (MV and LV) electrical equipment for mine wide general infrastructure and in the Process Plant. Grade 12/N2 qualification. Electrical Trade Certificate from a recognised/accredited institution. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as an Electrician in a mining environment. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience on Crushing and Screening Plant with, Conveyor Systems and automated Stackers/RecIaimers and general associated infrastructure. Legal liability, HIRA, First Aid, medium voltage (MV) reticulation and switching, working at heights and firefighting training and competency. Experience on Process Plant equipment with sound Electrical maintenance skills, knowledge, and technical background. Automated Stacker & Reclaimer experience will be an added advantage. Certificate of fitness to work in a mining environment and successful completion of Rehabilitation Fitness Assessment (RFA). Valid driver's license code 8. Compliance to MH&S Act of 1996 and Regulations and, Internal Mine; COP's, SOP's, Managerial Instructions, and other legislative requirements as deemed necessary by the company. Comply to SHE systems and processes and conduct Risk Assessments and complete Permit to Work prior to execution of any activities. Participate in incident/accident investigations when required. Compliance to good Engineering Maintenance Standards when doing any; installation, maintenance, and construction of the plant equipment. Conducting planned maintenance work in line with the maintenance schedule. Execute planned maintenance work according to job card task instructions. Maintenance work to be done efficiently. Perform quality inspections and report findings on the job card feedback for capturing by planning department. Ensure asset performance is high and reliable. Perform cleaning and good housekeeping duties within the department. Maintaining and/or reporting defects on medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) electrical equipment. Ensuring machinery and equipment is electrically compliant with relevant mine standards. Identify spares requirements and order accordingly. Work overtime when requested by the employer and perform standby duties. Work shifts when required. Market Related Apply Now
