Reference: GTG001453-TR-1 Our client specializes in the supply, maintenance, and project management of Power Generation Systems and associated products. Currently looking to employ a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their Durban team. Main Responsibilities: Perform electrical installations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery. Handle cable installation, panel wiring, testing, and commissioning. Read and interpret engineering schematics accurately. Minimum Requirements: Trade tested Electrician with a minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in a heavy current engineering environment. Valid wireman's license (Registration) according to SABS 10142 Code of Practice. Ability to understand and interpret engineering schematics. Familiarity with Power Generation systems, equipment, and protection relays will be advantageous. Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Sound judgment, reasoning, and decision-making abilities. Willingness to travel as required.
