We are representing a leading company based in Alberton, specializing in integrated electronics for innovative products, including enhanced circuit breakers, energy meters, remote monitoring, and IoT-connected devices. Education: BSc (Eng.) / BEng degree in Electronics. 3-10 years of design experience in electronic design, PCB layout, prototyping, and writing software/embedded firmware. Relevant Master’s Degree or other relevant qualifications would be advantageous. Knowledge of IoT networking, system integration, and other software would be advantageous. Job Experience & Skills Required: Collaborate with the Design Engineering department in innovating, designing, simulating, specifying bill of materials, rapid prototyping, firmware integration, and documentation for assemblies or systems. Focus on products related to electrical protection and energy metering, as well as automated test equipment supporting mass manufacturing processes. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Software Engineering, Project Management, Certification, Tool Design, Procurement, Suppliers, Sales, and Export, to facilitate innovation, design, and manufacturing processes. Occasional travel may be required to customers, suppliers, or other company sites.
