Reference: JHB004649-Cindy-1East Rand based company seeks an Battery Technician Minimum Requirements Matric certificate and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering At least 2 years of experience in an Electrical Technician role Valid drivers license and own transport Key Responsibilities: Ensure that the work is performed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety and environment regulations Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and tools, to locate the cause of a problem Testing installations or repairs on electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures Perform general electrical maintenance Ability to read technical electrical drawings Inspect and maintain all industrial electrical equipment Work with Installation Teams Complying with client requirements, policies, procedures Minimizing wastage of company materials Stay up-to-date with the most recent developments in the field Ensure that all chargers, charger plugs and battery harnesses are in good condition Maintain and improve upon all client relationships Foster teamwork and a positive approach towards objectives R 18000 - R 25200 - Monthly plus medical aid and pension fund, car insurance, fuel card, standby allowance
