Engineer - Industrial Designer - Cape Town City Centre
Requirements:
- Must have Diploma / degree Industrial Design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Strong background in engineering design
- Ability to create and manage product specifications
- Proficiency in creating detailed engineering drawings
- Experience in prototype development
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes
- Ability to collaborate across different functions within the organization
- Proficiency in project management
- Experience in coordinating with suppliers
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges
- Proficient in creating technical documentation
- Understanding of the Point-of-sale industry and its requirements.
- Develop innovative Engineering Solutions for costings, samples and production
- Produce detailed product specifications and engineering drawings for each project.
- Design and develop prototypes and first-off production samples to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Product Designers, and Suppliers to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure that all engineering outputs adhere to the required specifications and standards.
