Engineering Administrator - Johannesburg

Responsible for all engineering administrative tasks required in the Product Engineering department including ensuring the team adheres to process and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Management

  • Adherence to quality assurance processes.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Communicate changes such as design or ongoing improvements attention to detail/quality.
  • BOM Management and ongoing improvements.
  • Project management experience.
  • Procurement of required parts and tracking.
Reporting
  • Weekly Teams report on task progress.
  • Implement new reporting systems.
  • Good communication and ongoing updates to all relevant stakeholders.
Communication
  • Communicate to stakeholders and departments.
  • Ongoing BOM updates submit to procurement.
  • Liaise with suppliers on components and deadlines.
Design Responsibilities
  • Syspro or Netsuite or SAP admin and store transfers.
Tracking & Ordering
  • Order and Track components required for prototypes throughout the system.
  • Liaise with suppliers on deliverables and timelines.

Essential Requirement:
  • Matric.
  • NQF Level 6 diploma in Engineering.
  • 3-4 Years working knowledge in BESS Industry or similar.
  • Working knowledge of SAP; OHS Act; Electrical Market/Industry.
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Syspro or Netsuite or SAP experience.
