RPO Recruitment's client is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to join their team. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all engineering activities, ensuring the smooth operation of projects and teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, improve processes, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support Safe operations of HME Earthmoving Plant Equipment Sound understanding and exposure to Maintenance Management Principles in large open pit mining operations. Liaise with the Client Engineering Manager on issues related to Equipment specifications and relevant SOP’s Develop and implement engineering strategies and plans to meet project goals Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of engineering solutions Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources Oversee procurement of equipment and materials Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement Requirements GCC Mines & Works Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 10 to 15 years’ related experience within in the Open cast Mining industry At least 5 years' management experience Must have excellent knowledge and experience managing a large fleet of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Experience in project management Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Benefits Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
