Hire Resolve is working with a prominent steel manufacturing company that is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join their team. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of equipment and facilities. Responsibilities: Manage and develop the engineering team, providing guidance and support Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring minimal downtime Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and extend its lifespan Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and achieve production targets Develop and manage the engineering budget Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement Requirements Requirements: BSc/B.Eng./B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 5 – 10 years’ experience in the maintenance or production environment Competency in computer-aided engineering design and drawing Hands - on working experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment Proven project management experience Proven leadership experience Government Certificate of Competence Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently Benefits Salary negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
