Position: MFC Engineering Manager - Middelburg - Mining IndustryLocation: Middelburg, South AfricaCompany: A leading mining company in the regionRPO Recruitment's client is looking for an experienced and skilled MFC Engineering Manager to join their team in Middelburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering operations within the Mine, focusing on the management of maintenance, reliability, and engineering processes. The MFC Engineering Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all MFC (Materials, Field, and Construction) engineering activities.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the engineering department operations including maintenance, reliability, and construction activitiesDevelop and implement engineering strategies to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtimeLead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure they are motivated and performing at a high levelCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of engineering activitiesEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsMonitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement appropriate solutionsManage budgets and resources effectively to meet operational targetsProvide technical expertise and guidance to support operational objectivesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical EngineeringGCC Factories Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within the mining industryAt least 3 years' managerial experienceProven track record of successful management of engineering operationsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSolid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulationsAbility to develop and implement engineering strategies to improve operational efficiencyKnowledge of MFC (Materials, Field, and Construction) engineering processes is a plusAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesBenefits:Salary: NegotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
