Are you a talented Engineering Manager who is skilled in managing the delivery of all engineering disciplines then this opportunity is for you. This role will take full responsibility for the execution of the full engineering scope. Drive the implementation of minimum technical solutions throughout the project life cycle. Plan for the resources required (with the discipline leads) on the project and manage the same during execution. Direct and review the engineering activities to ensure that work quantities meet client requirements and agreed scope of works. Ensure design reviews are undertaken and will cover reliability, accessibility, operations, maintenance, safety (including inherently safe design), and constructability. Ensuring that the design is delivered consistently in terms of the application of appropriate standards, specifications procedures and systems, across the project within the allocated budget and timeframes Provide input into the Project Progress Report with respect to design progress, schedule and cost. Regularly review and appraise the structure of the engineering project team in terms of its ability to meet short- and long-term objectives and initiate appropriate change. Managing the flow of engineering and technical information/design data between disciplines and consultants. BSc/BEng degree in Engineering is mandatory. PR Eng registration is essential. Min 8 years experience working on CAPEX/Complex projects. Multi-disciplinary (i.e, Process, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and C&I) engineering knowledge and experience. Experience and knowledge of how resources on capital projects are scoped, planned and sourced R1.45 Mil CTC - R1.9 Mil CTC (Depending on experience)
