To ensure compliance to legislative and company requirements regarding Environmental, Health & Safety issues. Manage Environmental Health and Safety aspects, co-ordinate and monitoring all aspects of Environmental Health and Safety. Duties: Coordination and implementation of Environmental, Health and Safety aspects Co-ordination and certification of ISO 9001:2015 ; ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 Integrated Management System. Advisor and auditor for all aspects pertaining to Environmental, Health and Safety Improvement of Environmental, Health and Safety techniques Member of Plant Hazop and Remediation Team. Experience exchange with Environmental Health &Safety experts at other Brother sites Develop knowledge base in the field of legal requirements concerning Cr(V1)/Cr (III) with specific focus on international levels for emission limits, ambient air limits, occupational exposure limits, European REACH requirements, transport requirements, restriction of product usage, labelling etc. monitoring and evaluating new developments in cooperation with Chrome Competence Centre Responsible for coordination of incident investigations and follow up on completion of accidents Major Tasks of Position : Advisory role to site management team in all aspects of Environmental Health &Safety Liaison with National, Provincial & Local Government Departments, Local Municipality and Amajuba District Council Submission of Brother HSE KPI's Submission of South African Waste Information Services Report Submission of Brother CAIA, quantitative indicators Submission of Railway Safety Regulator occurrence reports Permit to operate applications. Compliance to Environmental Management Program for environment authorisations Major Hazardous Installation co-ordination Licence to operate audits. Environmental Health &Safety incident administrator: Responsible for coordination of incident investigations and follow up on completion of accidents. Responsible for all legal remediation issues – legal compliance Audit Environmental Health & Safety/Integrated Management System compliance. Develop and evaluation of operations to improve Environmental Health &Safety standards. Responsible person for Karbochem Incidents Appointments: 16.2 OHS ACT Assignment of duties. Atmospheric Emission Control Officer as per Atmospheric Emission Licence Waste Management Control Officer as per Waste Management Licence Enviromental Authorisation Enviromnetal Control Offier Enviromental Authorisation Enviromental Emissions Control Officer Railway Saefty Responsible Manager as per National Railway Safety Act Key Requirements: National Diploma/Degree in Safety Management Degree Chemical Engineering/Environmental Science/Occupational Health will be advantageous . Accredited training and auditing skills: ISO 9001:2015 ; ISO14 001:2015 ; ISO 45001: 2018 Accredited training in Environmental Legislation
