Must have a BSc Honors or Masters in Agronomy, Soil Science, Crop Science, Pasture Science, or Biology
Minimum 3 years' experience in an Agricultural, Soil Science, Agronomy, or Environmental Specialist roles will be required
Previous experience in Agricultural or Mining consulting environments is preferred
Must be proficient in analysis and interpretation of soil quality parameters
Must be physically fit to manage extended periods of fieldwork in outdoor environments
Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel locally and abroad as required
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Liaising with clients to determine needs and providing feedback.
Developing and presenting solutions, proposals, and implementation plans to clients.
Conducting new project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Managing project implementation according to project management principles.
Verifying and reporting on project progress and financial performance.
Promoting the companys services and creating awareness in the industry.
Conducting extended fieldwork and agricultural feasibility studies.
Develop environmental, mine closure, and waste legislation knowledge and guide clients accordingly.
Providing advice on contaminated land remediation and rehabilitation planning.
Presenting mine waste cover designs and mine closure planning.
Assisting with erosion and soil conservation planning, including agricultural production.
