Key Responsibilities for the Environmental Scientist: Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies to evaluate the effects of projects and activities on the environment. Design and implement environmental monitoring programs to gather data on air, water, soil, and biodiversity. Analyse environmental data using advanced statistical and modeling tools to provide actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental insights into strategic initiatives and project planning. Develop and recommend sustainable practices to mitigate negative environmental impacts. Stay current with advancements in environmental science research and methodologies, applying best practices to ongoing projects. Communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, providing recommendations for action and ensuring regulatory compliance. Job Offer Our client is willing to pay a market-related salary increase to the successful candidate for the environmental scientist role. The ideal candidate for the Environmental Scientist role must have the following and meet the requirements thereto: Master's or Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of experience in environmental science research or related areas, preferably in a corporate or environmental consultancy setting. Ideally from the IT field within Agriculture. Proficiency in conducting environmental assessments and impact studies. Strong analytically skills, with experience using statistical software and environmental modeling tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
