Mangrove Beach Estate Body Corporate, a mid-sized sectional title scheme with upmarket apartments situated in Melville (Banana Beach) KZN, seeks an experienced and capable Caretaker and hands-on full-time Handyman all-rounder for maintenance and caretaking responsibilities on our estate. The key requirement is being "hands-on," meaning physical involvement and actively participating with the estate's staff in performing maintenance, building and repair tasks. Applicants must be:Honest, trustworthy, and self-reliant.Energetic and detail-oriented.Possess a driver's license, clean record, and sober habits.Own a reliable vehicle with tools as an advantage.Able to reside on-site (package inclusive of rent - 2 bedroom apartment)Strong problem-solving skills, can work under pressure, and multitask.Available by phone at any hour for emergencies.Preferred age 40 and above (not essential).Own cell phone.Competent in MS Office Suite.Preference will be given to persons with electrical or plumbing qualification and/or 2-5 years previous experience as complex caretaker/tradesman/facilities managerMust be married/partnership with spouse/partner willing to take on the Hospitality tasks of the approx. 20 vacation rentals which generates a separate variable income /- R3000-R4000 pm (not included)Experience required:General Handyman work including building repairs, painting, basic plumbing & carpentry, tiling & weldingEmail CV to .co.za Apply Now
