Job Description: Generate quotations and submit them to the Key Account Manager. Assist with costing upon closing of a job. Writing of technical specification of certain products and communicate to production floor Ensuring that any changes to the technical spec by the client is communicated to the Engineering Department and Production. Regularly updating Bill of Material for Standard Quotes Sourcing of parts when required Working multiple projects daily Compiling Bill of materials for multiple projects Providing continuous support to all departments to assist in any queries related to production. Price forecast of material to avoid for possible future price increases. Requirements: Matric or equivalent certificate Previous experience in estimating and costing will be an advantage (2 -3 years) Experience in Costing of Road Tankers will be an advantage Using spreadsheets to do calculations. Be able to read, understand and interpret applicable legal acts and regulations. Provide technical assistance to buyers Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and accurately. Excellent administrative skills as well as numeracy competencies Computer literacy Strong communication skills Attention to detail Must be willing to work shift as department or company requires. Valid driver's license. Candidate must be willing / available to travel aboard.
