Job Title: Assistant Transport Coordinator Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa Reference : etv124 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Market Related Job Summary: The incumbent would be required to transport staff, guests, packages and goods as required by the Company. Administration: Receiving transport requests and responding to e-mails and correspondence timeously. Ensuring that all transport requests are captured accurately on the daily planning sheet and same communicated to drivers. Retrieval of tracker reports. Circulating and updating the Driver’s shift roster and communicating same to the Driver’s. Ensuring al shifts are covered. Assisting with company transport related issues in the absence of Transport Co-ordinator or the Manager. Responsible to submit to the Manager incident report and case numbers for vehicles involved in accidents or any accidents in order to facilitate submission of vechile insurance claims. Being responsible to complete, collate and submit all information and documentation for insurance claims relating to vehicle involved in accidents to the Manager Maintaining and completing log records of all trips. Updating and maintaining vehicles list. Updating and maintaining vehicle key registers. Fleet Management: Ensuring ALL company vechiles are sanitised and kept in an acceptable condition. Daily ensuring that the company vechiles are kept in proper running order and that the vehicle is kept refuelled. Ensuring that weekly inspections are concluded to check for any damages or faults with company vechiles. Ensuring that weekly inspections are conducted to check for any damages or faults with company vechiles. Ensuring that all damaged are reported to the Manager timeously. Submitting incident reports and case numbers for vehicles involved In accidents in order to facilitate submission of vehicle insurance claims. Ensuring that all vehicle service records are maintained. Monitoring the vehicle service intervals for all company vehicles. Ensuring that the company vehicles are dropped off nd collected from service providers timeously and as per service intervals. Reporting accidents involving vehicles on the company’s fleet. Transport , Transfers & Deliveries: Transferring of staff members and guests to and from the office and airport safety and on schedule. Delivering packages / documents to and from the office as required by the company. Required to fill when Drivers are not available.
