What You'll Be Doing: Job Summary: The role of an executive assistant is important to the success of the executive and, as a result, the company. An executive assistant helps the executive for whom they work with tasks such as scheduling; reviewing, prioritizing and responding to emails; answering and returning phone calls; organizing documents; maintaining records; taking notes at meetings and any other administrative tasks that help the executive perform their job. Essential Functions: Manage complex calendars and prioritize meeting requests and events for the executive(s). Manage travel arrangements and other events for the executive(s). Review, prioritize and respond to emails, phone calls and other correspondence on behalf of the executive(s). Organize and maintain records and databases related to the executive's work. Prepare and edit papers, reports, presentations and other materials. Take notes at meetings and follow up on action items. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Research and analyze data and information to support the executive's decision making. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, clients, partners and vendors. Collaborative effectively and positively with other company Executive Assistants on scheduling and other project tasks. Perform administrative tasks such as expense reporting, time tracking, and other accounting tasks. Manage and oversee projects and initiatives assigned by the executive(s). Anticipate the executives' needs and priorities and provide solutions and recommendations. Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of the executive's goals and objectives. Initiate and lead projects and initiatives that align with the executive's vision and strategy. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; associate degree in administrative assisting or related field preferred At least 8 years of experience as an executive assistant or similar role Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software and tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Attention to detail and accuracy High level of discretion and confidentiality Proactive, creative and innovative mindset Must reside in the Arlington, VA area and be available for in person meetings as requested Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Previous Health Care domain experience Experience working in a publicly traded company Supporting leaders at the C-Level suite Experience within a large organization (3,000 employee base) Working in a company with a multi-national presence. Technical Requirements: We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $65,000-75,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
