Our client is a 5-star, Big 5 Luxury Game Reserve based 3 hours north of Durban. A position for an Executive Assistant to the CEO has become available. This position is based in the company's Umhlanga office, but it will require frequent travel to the Reserve for various meetings and duties. The role is to provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and Board of Directors. This entail preparing reports, handling information requests, performing administrative functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.Drivers license essential. Areas of responsibility • Providing a support tole to the Chief Executive Officer • Planning appointments and events/Team Meetings/Conference/Monthly Reports • Acting as the point of contact between executives and employees Work tasks • Executive Office Administration for the CEO. This would include answering and forwarding telephone and email enquiries; sorting and distributing documents; maintaining an accurate filing system; arranging executive and senior manager level meetings; coordinating travel arrangements for the executive team. • General office duties for the CEO and executive team including ordering supplies and liaising with equipment suppliers to ensure an efficient service. • Board Administrative Support including travel and accommodation arrangements for Board members attending Board meetings, preparation and distribution of all Board related documentation, hosting of Board members at Board meetings. Experience in providing high-level administrative support to executives. Grade 12 and Diploma with at least 10 years related experience. Driver's License and ability to travel at times during the month. Highly organised professional who is used to dealing with confidential documents- hugely trustworthy Clerical: Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, minute taking, designing forms, and other office procedures. Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
