RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the master calculation workbook - Updated with supplier price changes, new product additions and latest exchange rates Submitting of the master calculation to the Management Team for approval 2 weeks prior to the scheduled price adjustment date Ensure a completed and updated Price List and Specified revision version are issued on the scheduled date with accuracy in both product description and figures Updating of Selling Prices on Syspro before 7:30am on the day that any new prices come into effect Ongoing price adjustments for items not on the price list as cost changes become available Responsible for various price lists including Key Accounts and branches selling in different currencies Ensure completed Key Account price lists are issued to the Key Account Director 1 week prior to the commencement of their notice period Preparation of an Indepth competitor price benchmarking report in preparation for any company price adjustment Competitor price benchmarking is to be done in conjunction with the respective Product Specialists Explore more efficient ways of determining selling prices, especially with the use of a pricing system Daily checks to see if products are selling at the desired GPs Alert the respective Manager immediately should the average cost of an item be higher than the calculated cost, the exchange rate differs by more than 3% or overall GP drops due to escalation of costs Providing selling prices for new products not on the price list within 24 hours of receiving a written request All quotes are regarded as urgent and are responded to ASAP after receiving costs and lead times from Procurement Responsible for all selling prices on Syspro Calculating and updating all kit prices Promotion pricing calculations and Clearance sale administration Coordinate activities, manage on a daily basis the systems, processes and procedures governing the end to end process of the procurement of materials or services from the right suppliers, at the right price, quality and delivery requirements to support the installation and services activities across the relevant branches Produce data analysis where required Establish and maintain effective relationships with Suppliers and internal customers Personally engage in supplier and customer relationship activities including briefings on progress, escalation management and supplier changes Prepare and contribute to cost impact reports as required , or produce other competitive bidding requirements on delivered targeted savings projects of the team and self as defined by the HOD Receive and review specifications to decide optimal quantity to purchase, quality required and cost impact to the budget requirements Align with Supply Chain Manager and/or preferred supplier lists to ensure effective category management Understand the impact of contracts that include cost, warranties, delivery, handling and penalties for late delivery and cost overruns Procurement of imports as required Requirements Degree in BCom Finance or related At least 4 years finance/pricing experience Must be computer literate, with extensive Excel experience Must have a minimum of 2 years Syspro experience Must have high level of mathematical skill and ability Excellent analytical skills Attention to detail is crucial High level of reasoning ability and very logical Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously Good interpersonal skills Ability to focus on specific goals Excellent verbal and written communication skills Efficiently work under pressure and manage deadlines Good organisational abilities Previous Procurement/Buyer and Project Management experience would be beneficial Must have own reliable transport Previous experience in the electronic security industry would be an advantage SA citizens only
