Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Export Entry Management o Registration of shipments on Shipshape.o Frame & EDI Bills of Entries (Export - Sea freight focused) to SARS within the prescribed period according tothe SARS Act.o Submission of Cargo Dues via Shipshape or Ports On Line.o Fluent in Tariff Heading Determination.o Processing of VOC'so Check the accuracy of source documents and information, double checking data and a keen eye for pickingup errors or potential errorso Processing of Certificate of Origins, EUR1, SADC and GSP certificates.o Knowledge of Break Bulk & Bulk Shipments.o Processing on Landing Delivery & Forwarding Orders.o Submission of relevant documents to the Shipping Lines for final release and Navis update.o Knowledge of Import / Export Control Acto Must be able to work within a team and, also work unsupervised.o Staying abreast of Industry changes.Required Knowledge & Skills o Knowledge of Customs and Excise requirements for movement of goods outside South Africa.o Good mathematical and analytical skill sets.o Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with ability to assist with problem solvingand delivering on expectations.o Matrico Certification in Customs Clearing & Forwarding. (Logistics Diploma will be an advantage.)o At least intermediate excel level.o Working experience of 4 – 5 years in Operations through Export activities for Medium / Large business.o Working knowledge of ShipShape.o Solid Clearing and Forwarding Exports experience required.o Sound knowledge of shipping documents & procedures required.Service Excellence - Must be the best at what they do and go the extra mile, needs to be flexible, customer focused,feel the need to constantly improve, provide top quality service.Accountability - Ability to keep their word, deliver results, be committed to their responsibilities, have strongwillpower and act as if the business was their own.Teamwork - Must have Team spirit and be able to work within a Team and empower one another, no personalagenda.
