Export Operations Controller - - Stellenbosch

Our client, a Perishable Exports company in the Northern Suburbs, is in need of an Export Operations Controller To take responsibility for the day to day operations and liaise with various stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

Grade 12 (Essential).
Diploma in Shipping, Clearing and Freight Forwarding, Distribution and Logistics Business Management or related field (Preferable).
At least 2-years’ experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics of Perishables (export-related).
Strong persuasive and outstanding organisational skills.
Excellent MS Office skills.
Willingness to work additional hours from time to time due to nature of business.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
High levels of motivation and pro-activeness.
Strong, communication, and relationship building skills.
Fair knowledge of the Intermodal Logistics industry.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail.
