Export Specialist - - Sandton

Requirements:

Degree or National Diploma in Logistics/Commercial Management or Supply Chain Management
4 Years relevant experience in Shipping and Export of Commodities
SAP Material Management experience or equivalent
Advanced Shipping and Export Certification
Advanced understanding and knowledge of total logistics and or supply chain management involving road, rail and shipping
Advanced understanding and knowledge of Total Quality Management
Product Knowledge of Chrome Ore and Ferrochrome
Knowledge and understanding of surface operations at Mine to producing a saleable product on stockpile
Knowledge and understanding of post tap hole operations at Smelters to producing a saleable product on stockpile
Understanding of operations related to rail and road transport at sites including movement to destination
Advance Microsoft Office
Advanced transport / material or other scheduling knowledge

KPAs:

Maintain and update Master, Rail, Road & Shipping Books
Monitor and optimise shipping costs and/or inventory levels
Oversee all SAP Invoicing transactions
Oversee the finalisation of all Customer Shipping documentation
Monitor Rail service provider performance as per SLA
Book suitable vessels for customer orders (container ships)
Assist in the preparation of budgets, costing and/or any other shipping related reporting
