You will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with existing customers, bringing in new clients and demonstrating the best of our hydraulic products in a designated territory/area. We want you to be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about convincing potential customers on the benefits of our offerings. You will be valued for your input and assessments to aid our competitive positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers
- Conduct field visits and telephone calls to potential clients
- Demonstrate product catalogue and guide clients in making appropriate selections
- Follow up on sales enquiries and resolve clients' issues
- Maintain regular reporting, including daily activity, customer interests, market conditions, and potential for new services
- Prepare and present detailed quotes for clients
- Attend trade shows and conventions to represent the company and its products
- Handle orders and ensure the availability of in-stock items
- Upsell and cross-sell to expand sales and client satisfaction
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hydraulic sales
- Familiarity with customer analysis, market assessment, pricing strategies, and competitor analysis
- Ready to travel when required
- Own car and license
Basic: R 25k - R28k, plus medical aid and pension (no commission)
