FACTORY CONTROLLER - Kempton Park

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Controller to join our team and oversee the manufacturing operations at our personal care factory. The Factory Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, productivity, and quality of our production processes.Key Responsibilities:Production Planning and Scheduling: Coordinate and oversee the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization.Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control standards to uphold product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and optimize inventory turnover to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.Cost Management: Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality or safety standards.Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implement safety protocols, and promote a safe working environment for all employees.Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality within the factory.Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as yield, efficiency, and downtime, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the personal care or FMCG industry.Proven track record of success in production planning, quality control, and process improvement.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Proficiency in MS Office applications and manufacturing ERP systems.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.Benefits:Competitive salary package (R20 CTC).Petrol card provided for business use only.Opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and innovative organization.Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package.Positive and inclusive work environment with a focus on employee well-being and work-life balance.
