Our client in the Clothing Industry is looking for a Factory Manager to join their team. Proven track record in same role is critical. This is quite a challenging role and the successful candidate will have their work cut out for them.

Package will be market related and depend on calibre of candidate.
Management of overall garment manufacture process
Manage production planning,
Manage line balancing,
Management of production flow
Continual efficiency improvement
Cost driver evaluation and optimisation
Plant process optimisation.
Management of factory staff approx. 300
Engagement with unions & Atasa
Co-approving vacancies and hires
Track and manage employee attendance
Ensuring factory is audit ready (HR, finance, health & safety etc)
Establishment of statistical reporting systems
Must have experience and performed in a similar capacity
Must have experience in multiple styles & variations
Understanding of garment construction
Have a training mindset in upskilling staff and multiskilling operators
