Our client is on the hunt for a skilled and experienced Factory Manager to oversee the manufacturing operations of granite tombstones f. This role is suited for a leader passionate about ensuring the production of high-quality granite products while managing the overall operations of the factory efficiently. Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and quality expectations. Manage resource allocation, including materials and workforce, to optimize production output. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the factory environment. Coordinate with the design and sales teams to align manufacturing processes with product specifications and customer demands. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Conduct performance evaluations, staff development, and oversee the recruitment and training of new employees. Prepare and manage the factory budget, closely monitoring production costs. Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure high operational availability and reliability. Experience: A minimum of 5 years in manufacturing management, specifically in the granite or stone industry, with a proven track record of achieving production targets and enhancing operational efficiency. Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required. Experience in the granite manufacturing process is required. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential. Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in manufacturing management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks or Pastel. Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of granite processing, fabrication techniques, and machinery operation. Proven leadership and team management abilities, capable of motivating a diverse team to meet production goals. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on quality and precision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other departments and suppliers. Innovative thinking in process improvement and cost reduction strategies.
