An opportunity has opened up at Mpact Plastics Pinetown for a Factory Manager. This is a multi-faceted role, requiring a high-energy professional with a background in production and manufacturing. The incumbent will report to the Operations Manager. Your Key Performance Areas are: Manage and monitor operational production and manufacturing Offer production technical support within the factory environment Implement production and manufacturing conversions as required Maintain proactive and effective customer and supplier relationships Ensure sustainable production performance Ensure optimum work flow and production throughput Implement cost saving measures and initiatives Achieve set production targets Manage processes, systems and people Qualifications: Required: Completed tertiary qualification in Manufaturing / Production Management or Engineering Required: Intermediate Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office Required: Working knowledge of manufacturing and production Preferred: Working knowledge in the Plastic Industry and FMCG Job Requirements: A minimum of 10 years of working experience in manufacturing / production environment Strong problem-solving skills Clear communication skills Good timekeeping is essential Continious improvement orientation
