Factory Supervisor - South Africa
Our client in the manufacturing / production industry is seeking a well experience Factory Manager to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing day-to-day factory operations, including production scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Overseeing all aspects of production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
- Developing and implementing production schedules and strategies to optimize output and minimize downtime
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
- Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring adequate stock levels at all times
- Leading and supervising a team of production staff, providing training and support as needed
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing best practices to create a safe working environment
- Collaborating with other departments, such as supply chain and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant Degree: Engineering / Production or Operations
- Qualified Artisan
- Min 10 Years experience in a technical manufacturing environment
- CMC Milling and Lathe programmes essential
- Must have previous experience on Drafting Software, AutoCad or Inventor
- Reliable Transport
