If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a meaningful impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you Job Title: On-Site Farm Foreman Location: Steytlerville Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day farm operations, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and maintenance activities. Supervise and coordinate the work of farm labourers and seasonal workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Monitor crop health and implement pest control measures as needed. Maintain farm equipment and machinery, performing regular inspections and arranging for repairs when necessary. Oversee inventory management, including tracking supplies and equipment. Serve as a reliable driver for transportation needs, including hauling produce, supplies, and equipment as required. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all staff. Requirements: Proven experience as a farm foreman or similar role, with a strong understanding of agricultural practices and machinery operation. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and trucks. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues as they arise. Willingness to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons.
