Objective of The Position:
Monitor overall post-line quality and food safety systems of production.
Monitor Quality Control Points (CCP/QCP) as per HACCP VACCP AND TACCP plan.
Assist in preparations of all 3 rd party audits including, Regulatory, Customer (Standard Quality Management System), BRC certification, compentacies assessments, etc.
Support internal audit and walk through inspection program and share corrective actions with other departments and follow up on completion
Conduct sensory and physical in process product evaluations as per work instruction, Customer specifications and legal requirements.
Conduct product conformance testing as per specifications and requirements
Conduct Packaging verification checks.
Issue Non Conformance Reports to other departments when necessary (suppliers/ extrusion)
Monitor production, raw materials and finished product for Safety or Quality deviations and report non-conformances to shift Team Leader
Follow up and Complete all quality related documentation on shift
Conduct QC checks as per Check sheet during shift
Presenting Quality defects and recommendations to Factory Administrator during monthly meetings
Regularly do daily house keeping inspection and verify corrective action plan.
Support projects aimed at quality enhancements, process improvements, and reduction of Customer concerns.
Day-to-day interaction with Factory Administrator to discuss quality strategies for the facility, and also discuss direction for improvement on Quality Management Systems.
II. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two year certificate from college or technical school; or 24 to 36 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 to 3years of relevant work experience in flexible packaging or food production industry, with an understanding of Food Safety & BRCGS Quality Management and Food regulations for flexible packaging.
Knowledge of BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials Issue 5+6 , HACCP VACCP AND TACCP, Food Safety, PR and SOP's

III. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to stand for up to 12 hours, while working with and around machinery.
Ability to work in a plastics extrusion plant environment for extended periods of time (able to work in high/low temperature/ humidity environment)
Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
