EXPERIENCE IN THE ASSET MANAGMENT/INVESTMENT SECTOR IS ESSENTIAL Responsible for the operations of the H4 Collective Investment Scheme portfolios. A senior KYC analyst responsible for the first line of defence for the day-to-day compliance with applicable AML/CFT regulation and implementation of our written AML/CFT policies, processes and rules of procedures relating to risk management, customer due diligence and risk assessment, investigation, record-keeping and internal controls. Review and execute investor instructions and investor reporting, with specific focus on AML requirements. Assess, conclude, and sign off on client due diligence, risk scoring and risk assessment. Support onboarding for legal entities, determine UBOs, controlling persons, and conduct screenings. Prepare ECDD information for high-risk clients, assess risks, and provide recommendation to management. Ensuring CDD, client risk assessment, and SOF information are in place before transaction processing. Collaborate with internal clients and address queries and escalations. Transaction monitoring - identify suspicious transaction patterns, and ensure internal reports are submitted. Provide updates to the compliance team and to risk management where emerging patterns are identified and where additional controls should be implemented and recorded in the RMCP. Participate in any remediation projects, to resolve any issues identified by compliance/inspections/external reviews. Review investor application, redemption, switch, top-up and transfer instructions for accuracy and completeness. Capture investor detail on in-house developed administration and workflow system. Submit approved investor instructions to outsourced administrators within agreed timelines. Perform checks to ensure that all transactions were processed correctly by administrators. Resolve and respond to internal and external queries from investors and hedge fund investment manager clients, timeously and in a professional manner. Perform ad hoc projects. Min 2 - 3 years of experience in AML operations within the financial services industry B.Com or similar qualification from a leading tertiary institution or extensive suitable experience. Experience in transfer agency services/ investor administration of asset management industry. Proficiency in the latest Microsoft packages. Experience in an investor administration application. Negotiable
