Field Guide - Hoedspruit
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting guided game drives and nature walks for lodge guests.
- Providing insightful and educational commentary on wildlife behavior, ecosystems, and conservation efforts.
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of guests during safari activities.
- Maintaining and cleaning safari vehicles and equipment.
- Assisting with lodge conservation and environmental initiatives.
- Interacting professionally and courteously with guests to enhance their safari experience.
- FGASA NQF Level 4 or equivalent field guide certification.
- Full trails qualification
- Proven experience as a Field Guide in a safari lodge or similar environment.
- Excellent knowledge of local flora, fauna, and wildlife habitats.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work long hours, early mornings, and evenings as required.
- First Aid certification
- A passion for nature conservation and sustainable tourism practices.
