Based on the banks of the Umgeni River in the heart of Durban, AlcoNCP is a multinational company and a leading producer of superior quality ethanol and DDGS for a wide range of industries around the globe. We are currently looking for a Field Operator to join our dynamic team. Physical operation of production plants, including production utilities, according to SOP's. Includes plant pre-checks,start ups, shutting down and emergency stops. Operating the production and utility plants according to procedure to achieve budgeted efficiencies, quality and the required product mix. Follow up on all alarm conditions as communicated by the Production operator. Effective shift hand-over and logging of process conditions and incidents. Maintain chemical stocks to standard at point of use. Minimum Critical Requirements Basic computer literacy in MS Office, Good communication skills Good analytical skills Work permit training Fire training OSH Act HazChem ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, FSSC standards, SANS 10330 (HACCP) BSc Chemical Engineering, BTech Chemical Engineering or equivalent, Ndip Chemical Engineering or Equivalent 1 year plant experience or, Chemical Operations level 3 or below 4 years' plant experience.
