Qualification / skills and experience required:- Minimum of 1-2 year of external/field/area sales experience.
- Beneficial if you understand/speak Afrikaans for this region.
- HSE rep experience would be advantageous or Health and Safety courses.
- Curious mind, energetic and confident.
- Experience in the PPE industry would be advantageous, alternate industries to consider would be manufacturing, power tools, industrial, etc.
- Great people skills as this is a customer centric role.
- Own car and license is required for client visits.
Job description:- Report directly to Sales Manager
- Take ownership of Establishing, Maintaining and Developing Business with large corporate clients: Minimum 1 Visit per Day / (+-20 per month)
- Persistently approach and establish small/medium business Minimum 4 Visits per Day / +-64 per month (Goal of closing 8 per month)
- Plan daily to proactively move business forward
- The Canvasing area will be from the base of operations (Pretoria North) and will span the Brits, Rosslyn and Waltloo Areas.
- Continuously communicate with colleagues to maintain control of your clients business dealings
- Cold calling & setup client visits
- Build and create relationships with clients and potential future clients.
- Continuous learning of industry trends and new products
- Resolve clients queries.
