Filler Operator position in the West Rand - Tarlton Filler Operator job description The role of the filler operator is to operate, monitor and maintain the Sterilizer and Filling machines. Job Summary Reporting directly to the Filling Line Supervisor. You will be responsible for the performance and efficiency of our filling machines. Essence The essence of your job is to ensure the machines operate well and do not stop. Your goal is to keep the machines well maintained and set up so that wastage/breakdowns are kept under control. Duties and Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain the following equipment: Pre-heater De-aerator Homogenizer Sterilizer Cooling system & air compressor 750ml IPI Filler 330ml IPI Filler Maintain all control paperwork and reports. Clean your environment after production. Assist in the maintenance of all equipment during the slow seasons. Required Skills and Abilities Machine Setter Basic Fitting knowledge Read and write Knowledge of filling machines (IPI, Tetrapak etc) Knowledge of sterilization and CIP procedures Key Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively. Quick decision-making skills to address production challenges promptly. Adaptability to handle unexpected situations. Good Discipline and attention to detail Education and Experience Any prior experience with aseptic packaging machinery (IPI, Tetra etc.) Matric Any Machine setter qualifications or experience Physical Requirements Must be able to handle the physical requirements of moving around the machines Must be able to handle the physical requirements of cleaning. Potential Roles to develop to Filling Line Supervisor R10 000 - R30 000pm
