Minimum Job Requirements:

B.Tech Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience in production and process control.
Proven report writing skills.
Working knowledge of statistical data collection and production support systems.
Knowledge of material balance, BOMs and run rates.
Knowledge of training and assessment.

Responsibilities and Key Outputs:
Report to the Final Products Manager:

Responsible for the technical aspects of the production processing functions within a production discipline.
Lead the process of defining current production process requirements and qualifies proposed processes against machine / equipment and/or overall capability.
Review and update production recipes in line with specifications to ensure business continuity and continual improvement.
Collaborate with Foreman and Operators by undertaking regular tours to ensure plant is operating at required rate and specified conditions are being adhered to.
Subject-Matter-Expert, and lead problem-solving initiatives by conducting investigations and providing solutions.
Develop, review and record operational documentation.
Provide technical support in the development of new products and provide training to production staff on new/enhanced products, etc.
Promote good maintenance practices to ensure safety, quality, cost-effectiveness and minimal downtime.
Support Management in driving a cost-effective and efficient operation to maximise business profits.
Adhere and enforce all health and safety regulations and report all safety hazards, accidents and incidents.
Provide Management with reporting on production variances, downtime and any other relevant reporting required.
Adhere to set out world-class manufacturing standards in order to ensure the company remains competitive.
