Manufacturing and distribution company seek to hire a Bookkeeper to assist the Financial Manager. Qualifications: Matric ICB Qualification / Diploma Skills: Advance Excel Sage Xero Job description: Duties will include but are not limited to: Invoicing and Matching invoices to payments Collections, reviewing the monthly debtors list for long outstanding invoices. Recording income received and code all transactions to the appropriate accounts. Accounts payable, contacting person for invoicing, loading invoices. Allocating GL code and other categories Ensuring that all creditors’ payments are supported by relevant documents. Reviewing the monthly creditors ageing list for any abnormalities Assisting with stock takes every three months. Assisting with data entry in the inventory systems Ensuring that there are adequate controls and that records are accurate. Compiling weekly stock reports Completing other ad hoc tasks for the Financial Manager when needed.
