Reference: PE002270-CV-1 Our client in the Fishing industry is currently looking to employ Wage / Finance Administrator – Fishing Industry, based in Port Elizabeth. A wonderful career opportunity awaits you. Requirements: Matric essential. Tertiary qualification in Finance highly advantageous. Minimum 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar industry. Experience in Pastel essential. Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to: Compile the fishing vessel crew wage sheets and payslips. Draw docking day subs and hand over to the 1st office for pay out once offloading is complete. Update the EMP 501 schedule to ensure PAYE, UIF and SDL are reconciled and paid. Ensure retainers are paid on the 25 of each month by compiling payslips and sending to Head office timeously. Track Squid cost for stock valuations. Help with reconciling advances. Ensure creditors' invoices are correct when requested by finance. Review attendance registers before submitting to Finance for payment.
