To effectively assist in maintaining an accurate stock balance in respect of the stock ledger. Assist in maintaining work in progress accounts and perform stock administrative duties (including scheduling stock takes) WSA Corporate store Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) stocktakes are accurately scheduled as per the most recent Stocktake Planner and reviewed before they are published (Schedule accurate Stock take counts within the given time period). • Review WSA Corporate store RFID stocktake schedule numbers are sent / published as per the business service level agreement. • Stocktake results are accurately compiled and analysed per the finance stocktake guidelines (Assist with compiling of accurate stocktake results, within the agreed SLA). • All store stocktakes are accurately captured in an adjustment template and stocktake adjustments are adjusted as per the agreed finance stocktake guidelines. • All stores stocktake results accurately compiled and submitted to the stock reviewer timeously with signed checklist sheet. • Investigate stocktake variances where applicable. • Assist in investigating and clearing reconciling items on reconciliations. • Escalate key operational issues accurately and timeously. • Escalate complex issues and highlight any non-adherence to procedures and controls to Manager. • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as determined by line manager. • Maintain and encourage professional relationships with the rest of the team. • Drive issues proactively to resolution. • Deliver high performance consistently. • Maintain a good relationship with internal customers and the rest of the team. Technical skills • Diploma in Accounting (6 month / intermediate stage) or equivalent • Elementary Accounting Ability / Reconciliation / Accounting experience and ability • Computer literacy – Oracle, RMS, Excel • High problem-solving ability and experience. • Able to read, interpret and capture source documents and reports or schedules. • Able to accurately interpret mathematical ratios, have a strong numerical ability.
