Requirements: Grade 12 N4 Financial Management Certificate Alternatively Diploma in Financial/Cost Accounting 2-3 years' financial experience ERP system and IT (SAP knowledge would be an advantage) Financial Knowledge Microsoft Office English and Afrikaans Key Performance Areas: Profitability and sustainability Globally manufacturing competitive costs Exceeds customer satisfaction Outperform the competition Partner suppliers Responsible corporate citizen Interpersonal Skills/Values: Good communications skills (verbal/non-verbal) Effective decision maker and results oriented Critical thinking and problem solving ability Conflict handling and resolution skills Ability to work in a high pressure environment Duties & Responsibilities: Perform routine calculations to produce analysis and reports as requested Create, send, and follow up on invoices (Creditors, Debtors, Sales Functions) Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified Adhere to company's financial policies and procedures Opening of clients' accounts with third parties Cashbook Assisting procurement (purchase orders, sorting GRN's) Reconciling of general ledger accounts Timeous preparation of monthly journal SARS communication, filling VAT/EMP returns Payment on ERP system and directly on Bank platform Cash flow forecasts together with investments Cost saving initiative Analysis and projects Assets (Depreciating additions and disposals) Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure contribution to company's monthly financial reporting is achieved in a timeously and accurate manner Assist with reporting Foreign transactions/ payments together with imports/ exports/customs Assist colleagues on daily tasks Assist with year-end and preparation and procedures Advanced payment knowledge Various ad-hoc duties
