A pioneering player in the FMCG market, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Assistant / Debtors Clerk to join their finance team in Johannesburg. This role is essential in ensuring financial precision and enhancing customer relations through efficient account management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finance Assistant/Debtors Clerk or similar role.
- Experience on Paste Partner, Pastel Evolution, Quickbooks, advanced Excell
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel, experience with FMCG-specific financial software is a plus.
- International Debtors & Creditors Experience would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Efficiently manage debtor accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices, minimizing overdue payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in the preparation of monthly financial analyses and reports.
- Liaise with clients to clarify any billing discrepancies and foster strong, professional relationships.
- Support the finance team with data entry, processing, and generating reports using our state-of-the-art financial software.
- Contribute to the implementation of new processes to improve financial efficiency and risk management
- Full function Debtors
- Debto Collection on accounts post 30 days
- Capturing Cashbook
- Allocation of Payments received
- Invoicing
- Monitor age analysis
- Credit Notes
- Income statements
