Requirements:- BCom Accounting or Financial Management Honours or equivalent
- CA(SA) qualification is essential
- 3+ years experience in a similar role (within the mining industry preferred)
- Proficiency in JDE, IBM TM1, IBM Cognos, PowerBi, and Advanced Excel
- Willingness to travel
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Conduct the analysis of business results, diving deep into variances and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive improvements
- Compile budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and providing valuable insights to support decision-making
- Manage the budget and forecast process, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement
- Assess the feasibility of CAPEX and other projects, contributing to informed decision-making
- Oversee the variable product cost process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct stock, stores, and raw material valuation and reconciliation activities
- Provide decision and project support for Finance, Site Management, Operations, and Senior Management
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to optimize site costs and enhance operating unit performance
- Review and sign off on results and financial statements, ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, delivering actionable insights to drive business growth
- Conduct financial modeling and analytical tasks to support strategic initiatives
- Evaluate new business opportunities and assist with process implementation and analysis
