This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in capturing and managing financial data within an ERP system. You will be supporting the Financial Manager and Head of Controlling in their day-to-day activities. Financial Reporting: Input financial data into the ERP system accurately and in a timely manner, including invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, journal entries, and capitalizing of placed devices as assets. Verify and reconcile data entered into the system to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist in the maintenance and organization of financial records and documentation within the ERP system. Collaborate with other finance team members to resolve discrepancies and address data entry issues. Generate and distribute financial reports and statements as requested by the Accountant and Financial Manager. Assist in updating and maintaining master data records, including vendor information, chart of accounts, and cost centers. Participate in training sessions to enhance proficiency in ERP system functionalities and data entry processes. Adhere to established internal controls and compliance procedures when entering financial data into the ERP system. Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks related to financial data management and analysis as assigned. Financial Controlling: Support month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring all necessary data is entered and reconciled in the ERP system. Performed detailed analysis of material price variance accounts and assist in resolving variances as and when required. Capturing of goods in transit invoices to support the annual price restatement. Assist with the maintenance of the price set table (PST) as and when required. Log ERP support tickets with the global support team for any system-related issues or queries encountered during data entry or reconciliation processes. Track progress of ERP support tickets and follow up with the global support team to ensure timely resolution and escalation if necessary. Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks related to financial controlling and analysis as assigned. Ad-hoc: Other ad-hoc requirements as requested by management. EDUCATION: FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting related field.
