As the Finance Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the financial strategy that impacts millions across Central and East Africa. From pioneering new initiatives to optimizing investments, your contributions will shape the future of our business and the region.This role is based in Springs, Johannesburg East.Key Responsibilities: Spearhead the development and execution of the financial strategy for their business across 38 countries in Central and East Africa. Act as a strategic partner to the Business Development Director, driving long-term growth initiatives and operational excellence. Identify and assess key risks facing the CEA region and the business, providing insights to drive informed decision-making. Lead the formulation of commercial budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Monitor financial performance and metrics, optimizing spending efficiency and maximizing return on investments. Champion working capital efficiency, forecast accuracy, and return on invested capital (ROIC) to drive sustainable growth. Lead transformation initiatives to optimize operating structures, processes, and commercial investments. Maximize ROI on project-based, promotional, and new investment spend. Influence cross-functional teams and divisions to align with financial goals and strategies. Communicate financial insights effectively to business partners, fostering financial acumen across the organization. Share best practices and provide expert financial analysis to enhance revenue and reduce costs. Assess the financial implications of competitor strategies and external business conditions, providing actionable recommendations. Proactively challenge and improve business plans, mitigating risks and enhancing value creation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Completed CIMA designation Minimum 8 years within a FMCG/Manufacturing industry.
