My client is seeking a visionary Finance Lead to join their team and drive transformative growth in partnership with the Business Development Director.As the Finance Lead, you will do more than manage finances - you'll be a pivotal leader shaping their long-term strategy, fostering operational excellence, and identifying smart risks to propel our business forward. This role is based in Springs, Johannesburg East.Here's what you'll be responsible for: Strategy Development: Collaborate closely with our CEA Business Development Director to shape and drive our business strategy, ensuring alignment with our objectives across the region. Innovative Financial Management: Lead the commercial budgeting process and quarterly forecasts, challenging plans to ensure they align with our strategic vision. Maximize ROI on all investments and champion working capital efficiency. Performance Monitoring: Review and monitor financial metrics, both internally and externally, to track progress towards our goals. Identify opportunities to enhance spending efficiency and maximize returns. Risk Assessment: Understand key risks facing our business and the CEA region, providing insights to the team and supporting the development of mitigation plans. Cross-Functional Leadership: Influence cross-functional teams beyond your direct control, fostering collaboration and driving alignment towards our shared objectives. Financial Acumen Development: Effectively communicate financial information to business partners, providing education to enhance their financial acumen. Share best practices for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Market Insights: Provide a consultative view of external business conditions and assess the financial implications of competitor strategies, enabling proactive decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field CIMA professional designation (non-negotiable) Proven experience in financial management and strategy development Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data Prior experience in the African market is a plus If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
